Calling for Women Leaders

The Hypo Vereinsbank Women's Council runs a mentoring program for women start-up entrepreneurs and is still accepting applications for this year's program.

At DLD13 the Mentorship program was announced and Padmasree Warrior - CTO at Cisco Systems - shared with the DLD community, why she is so passionate about women being supported in the business arena.

The idea is that experienced businesswomen will support selected women start-up entrepreneurs on their way to founding their own company based in Germany. Already in 2012, six young women made their business idea reality – supported by professional mentors from the HVB Women’s Council with first-hand advice.

What’s in it for you?

Over the course of the mentoring programme, a mentor will be at your side with practical tips, background information and many years of expertise to guide you in the successful launch of your enterprise. This year could be your turn: For a period of six months, you will receive support from a member of the HVB Women’s Council and a HypoVereinsbank start-up expert.
